Round face
A round face is as wide as it is long, and it is wider at cheek level. If you have a round face, you need to stay away from haircuts that emphasize the roundness and go for mid-length haircuts that are at shoulder level as they elongate your face. You can also choose layers into your hair in order to add some movement to your tresses.

Oval Face

Ovals are considered the ideal face shape. This facial shape can wear a very wide range of styles!  Bobbed, layered, close / full /  long or short, just about any style  will suit this balanced shape. .   Bangs for instance can accent your eyes, while hair off the forehead can balance your nose in profile view. The hair type will also be a determining factor in creating a flattering style. If natural curly hair,wavy or straight,  make it part of the style.  The facial shape is only the starting point.
